DHKN’s Eoghan McGuire, who leads the firm’s tax compliance team, took part in the Business Leaders’ Sleep Out for Cope Galway in late November and has so far raised over €10,000 for Cope’s services for homeless people.
“Despite the freezing temperature that night, it wasn’t a bad experience for me because of the camaraderie amongst all those taking part,” says Eoghan.
“But it still gave us all some experience of what it is like to be homeless and have to sleep rough in Galway. It really shows why Cope’s homeless services are so important to those who need them.”
